It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Helen Monge of Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Braat and Juanita I. Braat (Lee); and her husband Ronald P. Monge. She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia "Ginny" Monge (Deane Walker) of Concord and Carol Lee Sain (Shon) of Wilmington, Delaware; her grandchildren, Bailey Sain, Alex Walker, Jack Walker and Lily Sain; her sister Jean Neal (Tom Newton) of Chandler, Arizona; and her brother-in-law Julio Monge of Taylorville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or St. Mary's School.
