She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Gates and Alice Gates (Stead); her sons, John and Perry Wing; and her siblings, Harry, Russell, Eugene Gates, Connie Towers, Alice Mae Newell, Irene Kavanaugh and Evelyn Pelletier.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Wing of Canada, Elizabeth Holsopple of Taylorville, Carolyn Wing of New Zealand and Lauren Haydock of Phoeniz, AZ; and her siblings, David Gates (Shirley) and Ellen Pulberenti (John). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
