She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Adams and Emma Adams (Swedick); and her siblings, Thomas, William Adams, Ruth Ferchow, Mary Ann Durbin and Emma Adrian.

She is survived by: her spouse Leslie Philip Simpson; her son Philip Simpson of Melbourne, FL; and her stepgranddaughter Sara Rolfsen-Kohn (Gregory) of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
