He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold McGill and Alice Ruth McGill (Wall); his wife Grace May Carlock; his children, Robin McGill and William Compton; and his siblings, Arnold McGill, Allen McGill, Ralph McGill, John McGill, Betty Malisia, Burnetta Redfern, Burl Willman, Kenneth Willman, Gerald Willman and Arvada Hanus.
He is survived by: his children, Becky McGill (Tommy Maxwell) of Taylor Springs, IL, Connie Craig of Port Charlotte, FL and Paul Compton of Mesa, AZ; and his brother Darrell McGill of Hillsboro, IL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
