It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steffen Weinert of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Weinert and Mary Weinert (Bulens); his sisters, Joanie Weinert and Jackie Klauer; his nephew Kent Klauer; and his grandson Dylan Weinert.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Norton; his children, Lisa Steichen (Roy), Gerry Weinert (Bonnie), Clint Weinert (Glenda), Lynne Haines and Eric Weinert (Michele); and his brother Ed Weinert (Anna). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
