He was predeceased by: his father Clyde "Tiger" Altemeier. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hansen; his children, Taylor Smith (Brandon) of LeClaire, Kayla Altemeier of Davenport and Alac Altemeier; his grandchildren, Payton, Cameron and River Smith; his mother Virginia "Ginny" Altemeier (Longley) of Bettendorf, Iowa; and his sisters, Nikki DeFauw of Davenport and Lynette Rodriguez of Salinas, California. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
