It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Westgard (Taylor Ridge, Illinois), born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Hoag and Florence Vetter Hoag; her former spouse Gwyen A. Ziegenhorn; her husband Wayne A. Westgard; her grandson James Ziegenhorn; and her siblings, Dorothy Stout, Eunice Bierman, John and Charles Hoag.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Ziegenhorn (Zelma), Ill, John Westgard, Taylor Ridge, Jean Rhone (Bob) and Milan; her grandchildren, Mary Roth (Kevin Horton), Dawn Leman (Darin), Suzi Ziegenhorn (Eric McCoy), Mike Ziegenhorn (Charity Staggs), Matt Ziegenhorn (Janell), Kim Stoneking (Mike), Mandi Durham (Chuck), Brandon Ziegenhorn (LeAnn), Tracey Robinson and Brad Stufflebeam (Hope); and her sister Laura Bird of New York. She is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
