She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy R. Curtis and Florence Wilson Curtis; her husband Charles "Chuck" Coon; and her son George Robert. She is survived by: her children, Linda S. Coon (Caren Zielke) of Union Pier, MI, Curtis C. Coon (Kimberly) of Marco Island, FL and Kristin J. Yates (Charles) of Hartford, CT; and her brother Robert W. Curtis of Reynolds. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
