He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Rasmussen and Winifred "Jan" Rasmussen (Lowery); his brother Paul Rasmussen; his nephew Elliot Rasmussen; and his brother-in-law Ben Hamlin.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki (Harman); his children, Brooke Crippen, Jeff Nesbitt (Nick), Lee Gnatovich and Nick Gnatovich; his grandson Graham Crippen; his siblings, Steve Rasmussen (Paula) and Robyn Hamlin; his nieces and nephews, Emily Iverson, Beth Rasmussen, Matt Rasmussen, Faith Boyle and Kody Hamlin; and his pet Murphy.
Memorials preferred to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center.
