It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Keckler Jr. of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Keckler, Sr. and Lois F. Newberry Keckler; and his wife Peggy B. Simon. He is survived by: his children, Greg (Connie Duffield), Diana (Michael Skidmore), Deeni Leake, Daniel (Cynthia Duffield), Billy (Debra Duffield), Brenda (James Bowen), George A. (Shannon Keckler), Lisa (Pat West), Keith (Sherry Reed), Craig (Wendy McBee) and Theresa (Clark Brain); and also, Mitch, Sue Miller and George. He is also survived by many grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; as well as several siblings.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
