She was predeceased by: her parents, William Phelps and Shirley Phelps (Sherer); her brother William; and her son-in-law Todd Whelan. She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Victoria Spevak, Carbon Cliff and William Schweiss; her grandchildren, Matthew Whelan (Kearisten), Austin Whelan and Nathan Whelan; and her siblings, Michael Phelps (Ginger), Theresa Daniel, Moline Laud, Peggy Laud (Kenny) and East Moline.
