It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Wakenight of Tampico, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Rita Wakenight (Aldous) of Sterling; his siblings, Sheila Hendrix (David) of Sterling, Donna Wakenight of Sterling, Patty Noble of Walnut, Jennifer Adams of Tampico, JoAnne Wakenight of Tampico and Donald "D. J." Wakenight of Deer Grove; and his half-sister Sonya Alden of Rock Falls.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established.
