She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Thompson and Helen Thompson (Hays); her siblings, Al Thompson and Debi VanLanduit; and her great-nephew Jake Woodley.
She is survived by: her daughter Emily Thompson of Tampico; her sisters, Gigi Heffelfinger (Chuck) of Monroe, WI and Pati Lynch (Joe) of Richland, WA; her siblings-in-law, Janis Thompson of Deer Grove and Bill VanLanduit of Tampico; and her nieces and nephews, David Donnelly, Alan Thompson, Jr., Michelle Anderson, Jennifer Morales, Angie Beighle, Stephanie Lindstrom, Charlie Heffelfinger, Ashley Nolan, Michael Heffelfinger and Jim Lynch.
Given Laura's love of animals, memorial donations may be made to any local animal shelter in honor of her memory.
