He was predeceased by: his father Harold Betts. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Betts of Metropolis; his children, Mike Betts (Kelley) of London, England, Rob Betts (Sarah) of Paducah, Kentucky and Melissa Taylor of McDonough, Georgia; his grandchildren, Melissa Chappell (Christopher) of Decatur, Allie Betts of Tulsa, Abbie Grace Betts of Paducah, Kaleb Betts of Tulsa and Brady Betts of Paducah; his great grandchildren, Brynlee Grace Chappell and John Michael Chappell; his mother Norma Farris (Richard); and his sisters, Marilyn Ashworth (Ronnie), Debbie Penrod (Mike) of Southern Illinois, Becky Betts (Jeff) of Colorado and Lisa Hayes (Tom) of Cross Plains, Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
