He is survived by: his wife Ellen Fitzgerald Shupe; his stepsons, Tim Dakin (Phyllis) and Shawn Dakin (Shannon); his stepson-in-law Bill Harrell; his stepgrandchildren, Nicholas Dakin (Mary Ellen), Brittany Dakin, Amy Harrell and Kim Kang (Ray); his stepgreat-granddaughters, Chelsea and Rachel; his nephew Clinton Greenley (Barb); and his niece Betty Greenley.
Memorials may be made to the Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
