It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Lee Burton of Tamms, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William H. Burton and Molly Ellen Burton (Knupp); his wife Ethel Louise Dover; and his siblings, Ruth Ashworth, Edna Rambeau, Lela Davis, Cora Davis, Robert Burton, Bill Burton, Ronald Burton, David Burton, Viola Smithey, Charlie Burton, Floyd Burton, Fred Burton, Tony Burton, Paul Burton, Andrew Burton and Clifford Burton. He was also cherished by several other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Crain Funeral Home.
