Ethel McCrite Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel McCrite of Tamms, Illinois, born in Essex, Missouri, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Glen and Opal Irene Ross Bridges; her husband Harley; her siblings, Tommy Bridges, Ruth Greenley, Louise Thornhill and Irene Light; and her half-brother Jerry Glenn Bridges.
She is survived by: her son Mike McCrite (Janelle) of Cape Girardeau; her grandson Nicholas McCrite of Cape Girardeau; her siblings, James Bridges (Joan) of Falston, Maryland and Linda Cooper (Allen) of Troy, Missouri; her half-sister Sandra Bridges Riley of Hohenwald, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Thornhill of Moscow Mills, MO and Jackie Bridges of Maryville, IL. She is also survived by one step-brother; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to McCrite Cemetery.
