He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn H. Plumlee and Hassie Plumlee (Abercrombie); his daughter Peggy Ann Doerschuck; and his siblings, Truman Plumlee, Lester Plumlee, Harold Plumlee and Violet Ruth Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Ramona Jean Lemmon; his son Roy Dale Plumlee (Diane) of Tamaroa; and his grandchildren, Caleb Plumlee of Wyoming, Emily Plumlee of Atlanta and James Doerschuck of Okawville, IL..

Friends may make memorials to First Baptist Church of Tamaroa or the VA Activity Fund of Marion.
