He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodside and Gustay Woodside (Knapp); and his sister Linda Ratajczyk (Woodside). He is survived by: his wife Mary Woodside (Smalley); his children, Eric (Teresa Woodside) of Mt. Vernon, David (Kim Woodside) of Mt. Vernon and Diane (Seth Shirley) of Murphysboro; his grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Woodside) of Tamaroa, Kyle (Taylor Woodside) of Murphysboro, Summer Woodside of Du Quoin, Shiann, Trenton Shirley of Murphysboro and Nathan Woodside of Mt. Vernon; his great grandchildren, Owen Woodside, Emerson Woodside, Kai Woodside, Xzavier Woodside and Karissa Brown; and his siblings, Sandy (Tom Jablonski) of Tamaroa, Leo Woodside of Tamaroa, Christy (David Haner) of Du Quoin, Cheryl (Danny Wright) of Du Quoin and Rita (Robert Borchelt) of Tamaroa.
