Gladys M. Stanley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys M. Stanley of Tamaroa, Illinois, born in Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Short and Georgia Short (Miller); her husband Lyle Stanley; her brothers, Loren Short and Lester Short; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Iubelt and Sidney Iubelt.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Cowley (Marvin) of Eugene, OR, Darla Iubelt Wills (Gary) of Cobden, Jill DeMent (Kenny) of Mt. Dora, FL and Scott Stanley (Angie) of Murphysboro; her sister Lois Hirsch of Du Quoin; and her grandchildren, Kevin Cowley, Brad Cowley, Aaron Cowley, Jonathan Cowley, Frank Iubelt, Kerry Cheatham, Michael Iubelt, Jennifer Ragan, Matthew Stanley, Carrie Hendershott, Josh Stanley and Jessica Middendorf. She is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
