Deborah S. Lewis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah S. Lewis (Tamaroa, Illinois), who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Donald G. Churchill. She is survived by: her mother Elda F. Churchill (Mitchell) of Du Quoin; her husband David L. Lewis; her children, Tarah B. Davis (Jonathan) of Springfield, IL and Adam L. Lewis (Amber) of Du Quoin; her grandchildren, Rebekah B. Davis, Jonathan H. Davis, Judah H. Davis, Malachi J. Davis, Reagan M. Lewis, Aiden L. Lewis, Emerson C. Lewis and Micah E. Lewis; and her siblings, Luci Soutouras, Jerry Churchill (Marla), David Churchill (Eileen) and Christine Gonos (Daryl). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nine Mile Baptist Church (6684 IL-154, Tamaroa, IL 62888). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to Nine Mile Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church or funeral home.
