She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Phillips; her great grandchild Baby Jean; and also Glendola Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Scott (Sherri Parrott) and Barbie Brewer (Richard) of Tamaroa; and her siblings, Dorothy DeAngelo (Joe) of Sesser, Ed Brueggemann (Vickie) of Sparta, Dean Brueggemann (Pam) of Evansville, IL and Gary Brueggemann of Sparta. She is also survived by four grandchildren that she loved with all her heart and soul - Samantha Brewer Jean (Brett) of Benton, Dustin (Michaela Catron) Brewer, Zachary Phillips and Carli Phillips, all of Tamaroa, one great grandchild.
Carol's health also started to go down and after knee surgery in July of 2016, her short rehab turned into two years and one month in Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, where Alzheimer's took her from us at 1:25 P.M., September 1, 2018 with Barbie by her side.
