He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Nehrkorn and Clara Nehrkorn (Gass); his wife Jo Ann Miller; and his siblings, Myrtle McElroy, Paul Nehrkorn, Tine Goldman, Wanda Miller, Bob Nehrkorn, George Nehrkorn and Gene Nehrkorn.
He is survived by: his children, Lorri Cockrum (Tim) of Tamaroa and Jay Nehrkorn (Amy) of Tamaroa; and his grandchildren, Trevor Cockrum (Jessica) of Colorado, Paul Nehrkorn (Courtney) of Pinckneyville, Trey Cockrum (Hannah) of North Carolina and Shannon Radcliffe (Nick) of Lincoln, IL. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Friends may make memorials to Antioch Cemetery or Friendship Church of Christ Missions and will be accepted at the funeral home.
