We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2022, at the age of 54, Michele Baker of Tallula, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert F. Whittenberg. She is survived by: her mother Judith E. Whittenberg; her children, Katie Ellingson (Devonte Cochrane) of Petersburg and Ben Baker of Tallula; her grandchildren, Aiden, Christian and Ava Ellingson; and her siblings, Joseph R. Whittenberg, Charles L. Whittenberg (Debbie), Robbie Merritt, Karen Armstrong and Ken Baker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Michele's family to set up a college fund for her grandchildren or The Jimmy V Foundation which funds research for all types of cancer, 14600 Weston Parkway, Cary, North Carolina 27513.
