He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barb, Ben Metzger and Ruth Ann Shawgo; and his uncle Clinton L. Metzger. He is survived by: his parents, Wade Metzger of Tallula and Jana Metzger (Shawgo) of Petersburg; his wife Amy Metzger (McMillan); his brother Trent Metzger (Ariel) of Tallula; his nephew Carter Metzger; his nieces, Tinley and Esther Metzger; his aunts, Barbara Troxell, Robbin Baughman, Christy Crawford and Wendy Connor; his uncle Randy Shawgo; his grandfather Donovan Shawgo (Jan); and his cousins, Casey Connor, Kurt Connor, Gage Connor, Nathan Baughman, Christy Thomas, Nicole Sievers, Rachel Morgan, Emma Crawford, Heather Baughman, Spencer Shawgo and Mason Shawgo.
