He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Hinds and Elsie Hinds (Thomas). He is survived by: his wife Donna Hinds of Tallula; his sons, William Ray Hinds (Genelle) of Salisbury, Harold Wayne Hinds (Tina) of Missouri, Charles Emery Hinds of Tallula and James Allen Hinds of Havana; and his sister Wyvonna King of Salisbury. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital.
