He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence E. Mason and Ruth Simon Mason; his spouse Beverly DeMott; his sister Lois Mason of Quincy; and his siblings-in-law, Roger DeMott (Miriam) of Webster, David DeMott (Lauri) of Ipava and Lois.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to McDonough District Hospital (MDH) Hospice and Table Grove Fire and Rescue Squad.
