He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his children, Christina Flores of DeKalb, Ray Blankenship (Nicole) of St. Charles and Deanna Blankenship of DeKalb; his grandchildren, Carmen Flores, Sara Flores, Lauren Blankenship and Emma Blankenship; and his siblings, Matthew Blankenship, Mary Christian, Sue Curry (Tommy) and Stephanie Wills (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
