She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Bjelk and Mollie Bjelk (Larson); her grandson Matthew John Williams; and her siblings, Olivia, Lillian, Sylvia, Julia, Tillie, Harvey, Perry, Ernest, Russell and Robert.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; and her children, Jan Courtney of DeKalb, Michael Courtney (Brenda) of Sycamore, Patrick Courtney of DeKalb, Noell Dust (Wayne) of Rockford and Jennifer Courtney of DeKalb. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
