He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McLain and Charlotte McLain (Durley); and his siblings, James McLain, Rev. Michael McLain and Mary Jane McLain-Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Leidelia Aparicio McLain; his daughter Kelly Schieler (Bryan); and his grandchildren, Isabella and Kellan Schieler. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and many wonderful nieces, nephews and great-nieces/nephews.
