He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Loptien and Launita J. Loptien (Holder). He is survived by: his son Brennan Loptien (Sarah) of Genoa; his granddaughter Stella; and his brothers, Michael Loptien of Sycamore and Roger Loptien (Michelle) of Sycamore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
