He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eugene and Betty Jane Douglas (White). He is survived by: his wife Sarah of DeKalb; his children, Emily Elizabeth Jane Douglas of DeKalb and Michael Steven Meier Douglas (Jill) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Aivah, Adelynn and Aria Douglas; and his siblings, Lori Strube (Dane) of White Heath and Jonathan Douglas of DeKalb.
