She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Thompson and Ruth Thompson (Bergstrand); her husband William E. Brotcke; and her brothers, Leonard and Ronald Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Sally), James (Deborah) and Lee (Cindy); her grandchildren, Sarah McCann, Amanda Sebek (Julian), Katherine Nelson (Todd), Benjamin Brotcke (Heather), Paul Brotcke (Liming) and Anna Zumsteg (Craig); and her great grandchildren, Mason, William Bergeson, Emily, Jonathon McCann, Gabriel, Cole Nelson, Clara, Henry Zumsteg, Hayden, Carter Brotcke and Florence Brotcke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Northwestern Medicine- Kishwaukee Hospital Cancer Center in care of the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.
