We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2022, at the age of 84, Robert Whitney of Sycamore, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Whitney and Thelma Whitney (Hersum); his brothers, Thurston (Ester), Carlton (Bruzz) and Don (Phyllis); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Whitney; and his nieces, Kathy Ney and Diane Whitney.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Stroberg of Sycamore; his children, Toni Lynn Carlson (Michael), Jim Whitney (Kelly Lynn) and Kelly Jo Roby (Douglas); his grandchildren, Kristin Carlson (Dallas Crenshaw), Krista Klein (Alex), Kayla Rose Whitney (Liam Berna), Becca Roby and Jake Gile; his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Kiyah, Justin, Henry, Oliver and Sarah; his granddaughter Gracie Mae; his brother John Damon Whitney of Sandwich, IL; and his sister-in-law Rita Whitney of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
