It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Lawrence Downey of Sycamore, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leota Josephine Clifton and George Thomas Downey; and his siblings, Thomas, Patricia, Shirley, Nancy, Richard and Sara.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; and his children, Jill, Rob (Catherine), Patrick (Muna), Jennifer (Rob), Julia (Mike) and Melissa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a surviving sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
