He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Helms and Helen Helms (Gregory); and his brother-in-law Charles "Chuck" Bradford. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly of Sycamore; and his children, Nathan Helms (Lindsay) of Holland, MI, Candace Lothson of DeKalb, Leo Lothson (Emilie) of Sycamore and Brianne Helms of Sycamore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
