He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Richert) of Belvidere; his former wife Phyllis M. Cain (Klockenga) of DeKalb, Illinois; his children, Jeri L. Cain of Hanover Park, Illinois and Patti S. Bracken of Hanover Park, Illinois; his stepson David Gillette (Elizabeth) of Brookfield; his stepgranddaughters, Emily, Hannah and Kaitlin; his stepdaughter Amy Hendershott (Trevor) of Frisco; his stepgrandchildren, Blake, Zane and Briella; his grandsons, Eric of Las Vegas, Nevada and Adam Bracken of Las Vegas, Nevada; his brother Daniel G. (Ruth) of Maple Park, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Linda Cain (Terry) of Buffalo Grove; his niece Cathy Jones of Ottawa, Illinois.; and his nephew Lonny J. Cain (Cindy) of Ottawa, Illinois..
