He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bergeson and Betty Bergeson (Engstrom) of St. Charles; his brother Scott; his mother-in-law Margaret Zak; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Zak, Laurie Zak and Chris Zak.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Zak; his children, Christopher of St. Charles, Daniel (Stacy) of St. Charles and Colleen (Kevin) of Maple Park; his grandchildren, Mady, Izzy, Alex, Klara, Zakary, Cameron, James, Kaylani, Jade and Cobayne; his brother John (Debbie); and his siblings-in-law, Mike (Diane), Pat (Stevie), Tim (Anita), Pete (Kim), Wags, Kathleen (John) and Eileen (Jeff). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
