He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Hagen of Hagen's Ace Hardware and Dorothy Hagen (Harried). He is survived by: his family Dick; his wife Karen (Dooley); his children, Carl "Ed" Hagen of Sycamore and Michelle Holm (Josh) of St. Charles; his grandchildren, George and Hagen Holm; his sister Marilyn Ause (Craig) of Iowa; his nephews, Eric Ause of Chicago and Peter Ause of Iowa; his niece Kristin Ellias (Jim) of Ohio; his sister Carlotta Bielfeldt (Gary) of Peoria Heights; and his nieces and nephews, David Bielfeldt (Julie), Linda Bielfeldt Greene (Ted), Karen Bielfeldt of Peoria Heights, Julie Geiger (Dale) of Arizona, Jennifer English of Indiana and Josh English (Monika) of West Virginia.
