Peggy Burchard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020, at the age of 77, Peggy Burchard of Sycamore, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melverne Harrison and Margaret Bartenbach (Strauss); her husband Verge Burchard; her father-in-law Volney Burchard; her stepparents, Betty Harrison and Jack Bartenbach; her grandparents, Rudolph Strauss, Wilhelmina Strauss (Rieck), Eugene Harrison and Pearl Harrison (Udell); her sisters-in-law, Shirley Minnihan and Patricia Dagg; her nephew Gary Dagg; her niece Melissa Larson; and her brothers-in-law, Harvey Larson (Lois) and Roy Ross (Carol).
She is survived by: her children, Randy Burchard (Tracy) of DeKalb and Trisha Frayne (Ron) of Woodland, CA; her close friend Carl Brantley; her grandchildren, Kyle James, Alex Burchard, Thomas Frayne and Blake Frayne; her sisters, Lois Larson (Harrison) and Carol Ross (Harrison); her stepsister Donna Perkins (Bartenbach); her nieces, Meri Larson (Scott Cox), Lynn Larson (Raul Speelmans), Linda Mikottis (Steve), Lisa Ross (Phil Stern) and Liann Ross (Brian Propheter); and her nephew Gregg Larson (Beth Kaplan). She is also survived by several cousins, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will held at a later date due to the updated IDPH Covid restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Peggy's name to St. Jude's Children's Research (stjude.org) in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.
