He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Gulley (Snoe) and John Samuel Gulley of Hamblen County, Tennessee.; his brothers, Thomas, Charles and James; his former wife Julia (Bocklund); and his son Dale Bocklund.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickey and Debbie; his siblings, Willie F., Katy, Etta, Dorothy, Henry, Bill and Johnny; and his grandchildren, Amber Quitno (Robert) of Sycamore, Jason Gulley of Springfield, MO, Savannah Rosenbaum of Sterling, Sabrina Gulley and Sasha Gulley of Rochelle. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
