She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Robert and Ruth Adams of Virginia; the father of her children Clifton Patton; her sons, Baby Patton and Ricky Joe Patton; her siblings, Betty Messinger and Bobby Adams; her nephew Bobby Adams, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Tom Castillo.
She is survived by: her husband Alan Preston Wilkerson; her children, Robert Patton of Olathe and Ruth Scott (Zach) of Sycamore; her siblings, Doris Castillo, Buddy Adams and Gary Adams; and her grandchildren, Mary Jo, Beth Ann, Rick Jr., John, Olivia, Layla, Logan, Leslie, Chad and Avery. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and numerous adored nieces and nephews.
