She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Carrol Mills and Alice Mills (Everhart); her daughter Marybeth McGill; her husband Tom; her sisters, Carolyn Ziegler and Kathie Butler; her parents-in-law, Shirley O'Brien and Charles O'Brien; her siblings-in-law, Chuck O'Brien, Shirley Oakland and Betty Ward; and her grandchildren, Yvonne, Andrew and Mary Pheanis.
She is survived by: her daughter Terri Pheanis (Mark) of Geneva, IL; her grandchildren, Erin Gidley (Matthew), Sean (Sessa), Kasie Pheanis and Tom O'Brien Jr. of Davenport, IA; her son Tim O'Brien (Denise Coquillette) of DeKalb, IL; her grandson Jake Suddeth; her daughter Susie Kim of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Brian (Kimberly), Brett Kim and Pat O'Brien (Andrea) of Sycamore, IL; her great grandchildren, Joe, Kelly and Maire O'Brien Mary; her grandchildren, Drew, Lauren (Ryan Hetchler) and Kate Taylor; her sisters, Judi Trieselmann (Kurt) of West Covina, CA and Donna Panttila of Oakhurst, CA; and her brother-in-law Jay Ward of DeKalb. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Finch Funeral Home (310 Oak St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (329 Pine St, DeKalb, IL 60115).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb or St. Jude's Hospital.
