She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tondl and Emilie Tondl (Docekal); her husband Everell Adrian Smith; her daughter Catherine Grimm; and her granddaughter Jana Leigh Grimm.
She is survived by: her sons, Peter Smith (Sandy) of Genoa, IL and Jim Smith (Jody) of Shawnee, OK; her son-in-law Ken Grimm of Champlin, MN; her daughters, Adrienne Brennan (Michael) of Santa Fe, NM, Cecilia Marcinkovich (Kerry) of Portage, IN and Therese Laskowski (Jim) of DeKalb, IL; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Smith (John) of Plainfield, IL. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren.
