He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Krett and Virginia Krett (Hippman); and his siblings, Dennis, John and Kathy.

He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Becky) of Sycamore and Brandon (Janet) of Texas; his daughter-in-law Janet; his wife Angela (Trocchio); his daughter Noel Bohm (Ken) of Elburn; his grandchildren, PJ, Tegan, Olivia, Leigha, Conley, Gracie Krett and Carter Green; his brother James (Cheryl) of Carpentersville; his granddaughter Georgia; and his sisters-in-law, Dottie Krett of Sugar Grove and Cathy Krett of Florida. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
