He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Gertrud Hohertz (Puschkeit); and his wife Edith. He is survived by: his children, Doris Hohertz (Craig Peterson) of Sycamore and Daniel Hohertz of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Karl and Eva Peterson; and his brother Horst Hohertz.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church of Sycamore (26555 Brickville Rd, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Bethania Cemetery (7701 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
