He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Dahl and Arneita Dahl (Jackson); and his brother Brian. He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Dahl (Vida); his daughter Wendy (Bryan Holloway) of Snoqualmie, Wash.; and his grandchildren, Alexander and Rachel.
