He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Lyons and Elsie Lyons (Zwirblis); his wife Karen Lyons (Farley); and his brother Michael Lyons. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Lyons of Willowbrook, Illinois, Jeffrey Lyons of Rowland-Heights, California and Carrie Lyons-Greene (Thomas Heaphy) of Lenexa, Kansas; his siblings, Kathleen Opalinski and Richard Lyons (Diane); his nephew Dirk Johnson of Sycamore; and his nieces, Cynthia Chereskin (Benjamin) of Jackson, Wyoming, Rachel Strack (Ted) of Sycamore and Jennifer Johnson (Rich Neubauer) of Sycamore. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren.
