It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeri Delaney (Sycamore, Illinois), born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Duke" Allen and Beverly Allen (Young); her husband Dr. Patrick R. Delaney; and her siblings-in-law, Roseanne Kubinski and Brian Karneboge.
She is survived by: her daughter Colleen; her son-in-law Brent McConnaughay; her granddaughters, Mary Katherine, Margaret Grace and Megan Delaney; her sister Jacqueline Simon (John); her sister-in-law Monica Karneboge; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Simon, Kara Ratfield (Greg), Cindy Jones, Denise O'Grady, Tom Simon, Adam Karneboge and Robert Kubinski.
In lieu of flowers there will be a scholarship fund in memory of Jeri Delaney at the Sycamore High School. Checks can be made out to her family or to the Butala Funeral Home.
