Janice Edwards Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Edwards of Sycamore, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Marenda and Rose Marenda (Ryba); and her brother Jim Marenda. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Edwards of Sycamore, IL.; her children, Beth (Collin) and Scott Pawlak (Robynn) of Elburn, IL; and her siblings, Joan DelMedico (Tony) of Niles, IL. and Paul Marenda (Joela) of Mesa Arizona.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (244 Waterman St, Sycamore, IL 60178).
